Vietnam International Ethnic Folklore Festival is the unique recreational and non-commercial festival, one-of-a-kind in the world of dance and music. It is characterized by the unique format of the event, variety of performing arts and performing features of performances, from all corners of the Globe,

openness to the new, combination of entertainment and high artistic level of participant's performance where the cultures of the World UNITE in Ho Chi Minh City.

The Festival showcases 5-7 International Dance/music ensembles with 30-40 National Ensembles. The festival will be a highlight of the Ho Chi Minh's Cultural diversity and it expects an exceptional line up which brings over 400 artists together with the massive crowd over 10,000 patrons by hitting the biggest grounds & Auditoriums of Ho Chi Minh City.

IEFF VIETNAM celebrates the glory of world performing arts on Vietnam stages with a theme of Let's Dance for world peace along with Vietnam Tourism of Ho Chi Minh, Da Lat, Mekong Delta, Vung Tau, Mui Ne, Hanoi, Ninh Binh, Bentota

Welcome to all groups and to ages, along with Families and friends of Artistic groups to the Ho Chi Minh City of Vietnam.
Direct flights to Ho Chi Minh - Tan Son Nhat International Airport (SGN-Airport).
Comfort hotel stays with utmost hygiene along with Delicious cuisines of Vietnam will be provided.
Convenient and friendly program schedules.
Internal Transport will be convered in Volvo buses for comfortable travels.
Each participant will be awarded an Honorary Diploma of Festival. A Festival Trophy to the group leader.

Festival Organizer will select the best 5-7 dance/music groups with exceptional artistic level from 4 corners of the World.

Styles :Festival is open to all dance and music groups of any style: Folk Dances (More preferable), Theatres, Classical, Contemporary, Latin, Ball room, Street, Modern Social, Oriental, Fusion Dances, Choirs, Brass Bands, Orchestras & majorettes.

Age : 7 to 70+ years.

Group : 5 to 50+ unlimited

Music : Groups are allowed to perform on live or recorded music.

Travel : Flight Tickets round trip and the Travel Health insurance should be at the Group's Expense.

Accommodation : Each group should choose the accommodation packages listed below in this section. Festival provides 3* & 4* hotel according to the Accommodation packages chosen by the groups.

Food : Three times meals Breakfast, Lunch and Dinners will be served. Exploring different cuisines of India includes the buffets, packed food, Street food etc., accoding to the Indian Food Standards.

Performance : The Groups should perform 3 different dance/music items with 10-15min each 1 time a day at provided venues. Smaller groups should perform for 5-7min each, 3 performances with different costumes.

Competitioin : Festival Participants can only take part in the Competition which will be held one day during the festival with extra entry fee.

Competition is open to all dance and music groups of any dance and music styles

Group Members :Solos, duets and trios to Groups.

Group Members :Should be of minimum 5 members to no limit.

Performance :Groups 5 min; Solos/duets/trios with 2.5min dance piece.

Competition Participation fees :

All Competitors should pay the participation fee along with the Accommodation packages

Groups Category: 60EUR
Solos, Duet, Trios etc: 25 EUR (€5 extra for additional member up to 5 members)

Winners Cash prizes :

Groups Category: 200€, 100€, 50€ along with Trophies and Diplomas.
Solos, Duet, Trios etc : 100€, 50€ along with Trophies and Diplomas.

Jury :

The Jury evaluates the participants in accordance with the regulations. The jury consists of 3 highly skilled professional, jury's decision will be considered as the final verdict for the competition.
At Jury's decision competition holds surprise additional silver and bronze medals with the relevant diplomas in choreographies & costumes.

Venues for performances will include open-air stages, theaters, halls, Auditoriums, the parades through the central street- Ho Chi Minh City, and scenic spots without special stage facilities or lighting equipment.
Groups should attend the rehearsal on time.
Groups should provide 1 workshop in the festival. Group should actively participate in the discussion forums.
The group has to take part in all programs. During the festival period, the groups have no right to cancel any performance.
Every member of the group, has to have Travel Insurance which should include your medical and accidental coverage during the period of the festival.
Group will be accompanied by one IEFF-host during the festival.
Group has to get 2 National Flags of their Country and 3-4 gifts for exchange.
Groups will be allotted one day during the festival for the Ho Chi Minh City sightseeing. (Monument Entry fee should be paid by the participant)
Other expenses, such as beverages, laundry, room service, long distance calls etc. shall be borne by the individual of the group.
Smoking and drinking alcholic at venues or in buses is highly prohibited.
Organizers has the right to change the program schedules at any point of time.
Groups should follow the instructions from the organizer, rude behaviours will not be tolerated in anyways.
